The hospital response to the Pandemic Challenge

As the Covid-19 pandemic has unfolded across the world, healthcare systems have been required to make radical adjustments to their operating procedures. Many systems must now juggle planning for a second wave of the virus with re-establishing a range of services and care pathways. Resilience has become the watchword.

On September 4th, we invite you to join the second webinar focusing on staff resilience. Discussions will be triggered by case examples from Europe and the United States, triggered by the following questions:
• What were the biggest challenges for the clinical and non-clinical professions?
• What responses did leaders deploy?
• What were successful strategies for decision making, escalation/de-escalation and capacity planning?
• What are the lessons learnt regarding the physical and psychosocial work environment?

We have confirmed speakers from Promodel (USA) on the use of simulations for decision-making during a crisis, and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust (UK) on leading innovation, community engagement and meaningful support for staff during the pandemic. Additional presenters, potentially presenting cases from Switzerland and Sweden will be added shortly.

Join the second webinar of the European Health Property Network, walkerproject ag, White Arkitekter and Ramboll on Friday 4th September, 13:00-15:00 CET
