EuHPN Workshop 2023
“Whole System Transformation of Healthcare Infrastructure”
27 – 29 March 2023, Copenhagen
HThe European Health Property Network’s 2023 workshop takes inspiration from the programme of whole system transformation of hospitals and primary/community health facilities that has taken place in Denmark from the mid-2000’s to the present day. This programme is perhaps unique in Europe, both in scope and in scale, and we hope to learn how healthcare infrastructure renewal has accompanied changes in care models, technology, clinical practice and climate awareness.
The 2023 will showcase a formidable group of expert speakers and panellists, drawn from our host country and from EuHPN’s members and associates across Europe. Within the overarching theme of whole system transformation we will spend days 1 and 2 of the workshop examining some linked sub-themes: learning from the Danish experience, integrating services and buildings, progress towards Net Zero healthcare facilities, improving the experience of the users of healthcare facilities. On day 3 we hope to arrange some optional tours of ground-breaking hospitals and other healthcare facilities, as well as the headquarters of Healthcare Denmark.
Venue and Accommodation
The Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, styled “the world’s first design hotel” and the home of Danish Modernism, has been recently refurbished to provide top quality conference and catering facilities. More information on this iconic building is here. The hotel has set aside a limited number of rooms for EuHPN workshop participants. You can view the room rates and book via this link. Please note that the link automatically assumes arrival on 27.03.23 and departure on 29.03.23. You can change the arrival date to Sunday 26.03.23 if that suits your travel plans better, with the same room rate. There are many other hotels in the vicinity of the Radisson Collection Royal, at a range of different prices, and we will update you on those alternative options in the coming days.
