Calling all EuHPN members … it’s early, but we’d like to ask you think now about which theme you would like the network to cover in the 2020 workshop - or even as a one-off day seminar. The theme should be broad enough to ensure general interest, but also with enough depth to be relevant to the planning, design and financing of all kinds of healthcare buildings. As Executive Director, allow me to make one initial suggestion: health buildings and climate change. If, as recently reported, London’s climate will be like that of Barcelona in just 30 years, Stockholm like Budapest and Madrid like Marrakesh, then all public infrastructure will have to adapt very quickly, and perhaps the built environment for healthcare most urgently of all.
